The job runs on a Docker-enabled shell executor, brings up PostgreSQL + ClickHouse via the CI compose override (published to 127.0.0.1), seeds the base schema, and runs a focused subset: import smoke, metric calculators, and the heartland durability pytest suite.
Triggers: main branch updates and pull request updates.
Phase 2 will expand the command to the full scripts/ci-check.sh 8-group suite.

Set runInContainer: false so the focused CI command executes on the build
host (which runs Docker/compose), and disable submodule cloning. Validated
with 'tod build check-spec' (server upgraded to build spec v52).
Switch the CI job to runInContainer: true on the Kokonut Executor (Server
Docker Executor). Install the Docker CLI + compose plugin and Python build
deps (gcc/libpq-dev/python3-dev) at runtime, and rely on the executor's
host-network + mounted docker sock so localhost:5432/8123 reach the
compose-spawned PostgreSQL/ClickHouse. Validated with 'tod build check-spec'.
